With the help of the parametric modeling function of BIM technology, the road design BIM model which can reflect the design intention can be obtained quickly. By comparing the point cloud model with the design BIM model, the data deviation between the current road and the design can be obtained. This method has the advantages of strong operability, wide inspection range, high measurement accuracy and reliable analysis results, which can reduce the labor cost and shorten the construction period. It is a new type of construction quality inspection method.
